Inspired by the tropical craftsmanship of the West Indies and classic British and Dutch Colonial design periods, the Charleston End Table has Bamboo-carved accents, one fixed shelf and a self-closing drawer. Crafted of Maple Veneers and Resin, it is finished in the serene Haint Blue, a soft color which can be found on the ceilings of porches and entryways, window shutters and doors in the American South, dating back more than 200 years from the Gullah folklore that held the color kept “haints” or spirits from entering homes and dwellings. Finished on all sides so it can be floated in a room.
